The Clean Water Drinking Station

The Open Door ministry was looking for a way to distribute clean drinking water to their school children. Pastor Wiljean was originally planning to purchase a water cooler, but that would need to be manually filled and re-filled.

After some brainstorming, we came up with a solution - a clean water drinking station. A small tank would be mounted to the outside wall of the feeding center, and pipe would bring in clean water from a larger tank on the roof of the nearby medical clinic. Iodine tablets could also be dropped into the small tank to purify the water even further.

In addition, the drinking station would distribute the water to several spigots so that several children could get their fill of water at the same time.
